I met a software service company that was a young startup that was presenting as part of a business incubator program and thought it was a really interesting opportunity. I invited that particular company to present a few weeks later at my angel investment group Angel Pollination. There they met investors who invited them to present to another group, and that group ended up investing the first million and a half dollars into the company’s business. From there, a year later, they brought in venture capital to help start to scale the company’s business. So it was really a perfect kind of situation where I was able to help leverage my relationships to help this client grow their business.
