Avisen Legal Welcomes Javier Romay for Summer 2022 Clerkship
Javier Romay is a rising 3L at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Javier joins Avisen Legal as a summer law clerk after a successful experience as a Business Extern during his 2L fall semester. Having a bachelor’s degree in music and experience as a freelance musician and cartoonist, Javier is interested in soft intellectual property in areas of copyright, trademark, licensing, etc. He also served in Ecuador as a Peace Corps Volunteer and worked as a PCA (personal care attendant) for a family friend with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Javier is bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoys following soccer in various leagues around the world.
