I love being a lawyer. I love working with startup companies. I love working with companies as their outside general counsel, where I can be involved in almost all aspects of their business. I love working with companies that are developing projects within renewable energy and sustainability. Just have a lot of fun with it.

I love helping solve people’s problems. It’s like a puzzle. You get all this information from them. You try to figure out where the law applies to that, and you put them together. You come up with a solution that makes sense for them, and can help them with their business. I love that.

We really care about each other here. And I think that from a client perspective, that really means a lot because it means that we know how to work together well and deliver really high-quality service. Because we treat each other here with a lot of trust and respect.

My job is to help you do your job. My job is to communicate with you, to let you know your options. This is not a time where the tail wags the dog. My job is to help you. My dad once told me, “don’t be somebody that tells me no all the time, find a solution.” I live up to that every day.
