As the Office Manager at Avisen Legal, I ensure the firm’s day-to-day operations run smoothly while supporting our broader goals. With over seven years of experience in legal office administration, I thrive on creating efficient systems, fostering collaboration, and helping both clients and colleagues achieve their best outcomes. I am passionate about refining processes and finding ways to improve workflows, believing that even small adjustments can make a significant difference. 

My career in the legal field began at MADEL PA, where I advanced from a case assistant to office manager. This experience taught me to be adaptable and solutions-focused, skills that continue to guide my approach to office management. In March of 2024, I earned my master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resource management, building on my bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of Northern Iowa. My education has equipped me with the knowledge to contribute to HR and financial processes while taking on more leadership responsibilities. 

At Avisen Legal, I’m excited to work in a transactional law environment, having previously gained experience in a litigation-focused firm. I’m passionate about building systems and structures that support both the attorneys and staff, ensuring the firm runs as efficiently and effectively as possible. I also value strong communication and collaboration, which are crucial to fostering a positive and productive work environment. 

When I’m not at work, I’m likely on the rugby field. I played competitively for 10 years before retiring to coach the University of Minnesota women’s rugby team. Coaching allows me to stay connected to the sport I love while mentoring the next generation of players. Outside of rugby, I spend time with my wife and our three energetic Australian Shepherds, who keep me active and on my toes. We love traveling and exploring new destinations, always looking for opportunities to experience something new.
